Summary

Job type: Full time

Dispatchers track and manage chauffeurs/ operators. They assign runs, destinations, and timelines, as well as keep in touch with chauffeurs who are on the road. Dispatchers interact with clients and chauffeurs to keep up-to-date information on runs and schedules. Because a dispatcher interacts with the client to address any concerns or run changes, customer service experience is a must. dispatchers work in the office managing digital/physical runs and chauffeurs/ operators files , answer calls from the chauffeurs and affiliates and guests.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Answering a heavy call volume
  • Coordinating routes
  • Fill reservations and requests
  • Assist customers with reservations/vehicle locations
  • Ensure smooth running of daily dispatch activity
  • Provide chauffeurs with full support as they need it
  • Liaison between the chauffeur and client
  • Driver time recording
  • Track movement and whereabouts of vehicles/chauffeurs
  • Communicate and update ride statuses on outsourced rides (dispatched , confirmed, on location, passenger on board, and drop time)
  • Quality control of reservations for next day (errors, stops, services, additional passengers, special instructions important to chauffeur/dispatch/client, etc.)
  • Meet and exceed personal/team targets.
  • Change and cancel reservations as guest requests
  • Prepares travel manifests, books equipment, confirms reservations and coordinates all changes and provides a detailed summary for each travel group
  • Assists with coordinating greeter efforts at the airports for group arrivals·
  • Dispatches all limousine requests through in house cars or outside vendors
  • Documents all requests in appropriate computer software
  • Coordinates multiple transit endeavors to ensure superior guest service
  • Verifies and tracks all flight arrivals to ensure precise time of guest arrival
  • Assists guests in changing current reservations and offering various services available
  • Listen to customers’ questions and concerns, and provide answers or responses
  • Provide information about products and services
  • Take orders, calculate charges, and process billing or payments

We are seeking energetic and reliable professionals to join our team as a reservationist in our call center. The successful candidates will be responsible for answering incoming calls from guests who wish to make reservations for their transportation needs. As a reservationist, customer service specialist are often the first point of contact for clients. We are interested in hiring individuals with a commitment to customer satisfaction and an ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment

Role and Responsibilities

  • Enter guest reservations into the computer system while assigning reservations to the appropriate rates.
  • Calculate charges and process billing or payments, answering the phone, responding to phone and email inquiries.
  • Providing quotes.
  • Books vehicles, confirms reservations and coordinates all changes and provides a detailed summary for each travel group
  • Make alternative booking arrangements if changes arise before or during the trip
  • Change and cancel reservations as guest requests.
  • Process accurate records for coding and tracking reservations and advanced deposits.
  • Coordinates multiple transit endeavors to ensure superior guest service
  • Verifies and tracks all flight arrivals to ensure the precise time of guest arrival

We are seeking a well-rounded professional chauffeur who possesses skills that go far beyond driving. Must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with our VIP’s guests. Responsible for operating a vehicle and driving passengers to and from their destinations. Utilizing the latest in limousine applications and technology. Greets passengers, ascertains destination, watches for traffic signals, waits for passengers to take them to their next destination. You are the first contact most of our customers have with Joshua’s Limousine Service and first impressions are lasting impressions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Proper and timely completion of required paperwork (DOT and JLS)
  • Operates vehicles within the fleet including, Sedans SUV’s Vans, Limousine and Mini Coach
  • Provides Courteous Safe and efficient transportation of patrons clients and guest
  • Assists passengers in boarding and exiting the vehicle
  • Assists passengers in moving, loading, and unloading baggage and packages as needed
  • Regulates heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort
  • Vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Complies with local traffic regulations; drives safely in all situations
  • Monitors traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch of potential problems, delays, accidents or other situations using cell phone or app, or similar device
  • Completes mandatory pre-trip and post-trip inspections according to written procedure
  • On a daily basis, and after each trip, completes Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVR) and submits it to Maintenance Shop
  • Keeps interior of vehicle neat and orderly always, including removing garbage waste
  • Enforces JLS Safety Rules in a polite, firm, consistent manner.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and compliance with livery transportation rules and regulations promulgated by local, state and federal agencies.
  • Responsible to learn and remember the location of passenger pick-up and destination points serviced by the JLS fleet, including lodging, entertainment, and attraction sites; be able to communicate these to guests, coworkers and other persons
  • Communicates with and treats all guests, customers, passengers, fellow team members and all JLS personnel in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Notifies dispatcher of any civil driving infraction, receipt of traffic ticket, etc. as soon as it occurs.
  • Ensures that vehicle is properly fueled at end of trip, prior to shut-down.
  • Ensures that vehicle is parked correctly on JLS Property
  • Wears JLS uniform while on duty
  • Complies with all JLS Employee Handbook Rules and Regulations.
  • Complies with all JLS dress-code and grooming standards
  • Reports personal absence according to JLS Absence Policy
  • Performs other duties as requested by dispatch or supervision

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Qualifications and requirements

  • Must pass a bi-annual DOT physical
  • Must produce their own MVR in July by the first of the month.
  • Motor Vehicle Record [MVR], must conform to all insurance requirements.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and all random testing at the discretion of management.
  • Must pass pre-employment background check.
  • Must be able to lift fifty [50] pounds, unassisted.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English
  • Must be able to calculate passenger fares, provide correct change, and complete trip sheets, pre/post bus inspections sheets, and vehicle inspection report clearly and in a legible manner.
  • Must be able to operate and communicate clearly on a telephone or other electronic devices
