Our Wedding Day Transportation Tips…

Mistake #1…. Not working with a reasonable timeline

Joshuas Limousine
Nothing beats having a perfect timeline for your wedding activities. It is like having a central structure in which many other things can be built or fitted into. You cannot know with certainty where you would be at any particular time, but you can have a general idea. Most brides make the mistake of not figuring out how much time they have and how much cushioning they can provide in case there are emergencies. When you have a proper timeline as well as knowing the actual month of your wedding, it becomes easier transacting with transportation companies and having transportation sorted out for your wedding. This is because a proper timeline helps form a clearer picture of what you want in your mind.
The search for a good transportation company based on the good timeline you have come up with should come months before the wedding period. Booking on time will ensure these transport companies are available and not all booked during your wedding period. And that you would not have to make last minute running around which can be detrimental to already established plans. Booking on time also ensures security peradventure your wedding falls in a month with lots of activities where the services of transportation company limousines would be needed most.
Remember, these companies are not your private company that you can wake up on your wedding day and order for as many limousines as you want. So, set a reasonable timeline to work with and make that booking with a transportation company very early.

Great and proactive service.

Great and proactive service. My company hired Joshua’s Limo to assist us with transporting a missing bag for one of our employees that had been mistakenly taken by a client. Chauffeur Steve arrived on site well in advance of the agreed upon rendezvous time at Noank Shipyard to meet a boat that was bringing the missing bag. The boat company was unreachable for an extended period of time and no sign of the boat or bag anywhere, Steve stayed on site, kept communicating with us, trying to get us help from local crewmen to try and locate the bag and the boat company. When we were told the boat company had dropped off the bag at a bait & tackle shop at another marina he quickly made his way there, got the bag, and safely delivered it, bringing huge relief to our employee and the rest of us at the company for many reasons. Steve’s proactive disposition and great communication made a difficult situation that much more bearable.
